Some photos of a Truck Stop in Northwest Indiana.
Wicker Park seems to be a hub for traveling street kids. Ive seen little camping areas they set up on Bloomingdale Trail and in the park itself. More often than not there is usually a group spangeing or busking somewhere around the 6 corners or along Milwaukee. These two came up with one of my favorite spangeing bits Ive seen.
On the left is my friends Wive’s Families house in a small Costa Rican Village. I slept on an air mattress. On the right is a Casado at a local soda. A casado is a traditional meal consisting of meat or fish with rice and beans and veggies and of course Lizano sauce. A Soda is a small family owned restaurant usually run out of their house.
If you live in Chicago and havent had Costa Rican food go to Irazu. You will not be disappointed.
